The Nursing Team

Julie Birkett
Senior Nurse

Sister Julie Birkett has been with the Practice since December 1996. She leads the nursing team and meets regularly with the Lead GP and Practice Manager to discuss nursing support at the Surgery. Her main clinical duties involve seeing our Asthma and Diabetes patients plus having recently qualified as a 'Nurse Minor Illness Practitioner'.

Alison Grant
Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber

Alison Grant is a qualified pharmacist prescriber who joined the practice in March 2008.
She deals with minor illness, diabetes, and medication reviews and queries. The doctors will often ask patients to see her for review. She can prescribe in her own right.

Sue Garrett
Practice Nurse

Sister Sue Garrett joined the Practice in April 1998. Sue is an experienced Practice Nurse and in addition to providing a wide range of nursing skills for our patients she runs our Chronic Heart Disease monitoring (CHD) Clinic.

Tracey Weston
Health Care Assistant

Tracey is a qualified Health Care Assistant and has been working at the Practice since October 2001.

Hannah Grace
Health Care Assistant

Hannah is a qualified Health Care Assistant and has been working at the Practice since 2006.

Debbie Simmonds
Practice Nurse

Debbie is an experienced Practice nurse providing a wide range of skills to our patients, that include Asthma, COPD and Sexual Health.

Sally Davis
Practice Nurse

Sister Sally Davis joined the Practice in October 2009. Sally is also a very experienced Practice Nurse providing a wide range of nursing skills for our patients.
